Positive emotion is a resource that protects us from stress, increases well-being and ability to function effectively. In particular, positivity has been shown to help us build cognitive, and emotional resilience. We cannot always change our circumstances but we can choose to change our perspective at any time, control our internal dialogue and strengthen our positive responses.
