Collaboration between technology start-ups and large corporates can benefit both parties, helping corporates to innovate and start-ups to develop their products, and to scale.

But working together comes with various potential pitfalls.

Successful collaboration depends on each side learning about each other.

This session provides some tips for how start-ups and corporates can work together. It gives an overview of some possible collaboration models, and identifies the collaboration positives and risks.

Christina Scott, CTO at News UK, Ned Stevanovski, CISO at Mishcon de Reya, and Rhys Watkins from start-up accelerator Exagenica will share their experiences and discuss:

1. What makes a successful partnership and what are the biggest risks for both parties?
2. What is good practice in collaboration with start-ups?
3. How do you allow a startup to have the freedom it needs within a corporate environment? Is it essential to keep them separate whilst trying to support?
4. What are the pitfalls of the collaboration one should be aware of?
